Furniture and electronics should be arranged in a way that gives you the space and resources you need. You’re the boss of how your office is arranged, so take advantage of the opportunity. Being as it’s a home office, you won’t have to deal with bulky cubicle walls or immovable furniture. Pick pieces that work together to achieve the level of organization you want and need. Light is also a very important factor in productivity, so make sure your home office space gets plenty of natural light. Add in artificial light where necessary. This is helpful for the cooler months when you lose light quickly in the afternoon. Windows and air circulation is also important, as there is nothing more uncomfortable than a stuffy office when it comes to working.
